Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab: A Masterpiece of Design, Interiors, and Immersive Luxury

The newly unveiled Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab is not just an architectural triumph but a complete sensory experience, where fluid design, thoughtfully curated interiors, and world-class amenities converge to set a new benchmark for luxury hospitality in Dubai.

Designed by the visionary Shaun Killa, Marsa Al Arab's architecture draws inspiration from the elegance of superyachts. Its sweeping, double-curved forms seem to glide across the Dubai coastline. This sense of motion and freedom continues inside the hotel, where interior spaces mirror the subtle nautical exterior themes, offering a seamless transition from architecture to interior design.

The inspiration of the sea is most intimately felt in the guest rooms, which are styled after Italy’s classic Riva boats. Understated nautical touches, rich wood accents, and flowing lines evoke a quiet sophistication. At the same time, expansive terraces offer unobstructed views of either the Burj Al Arab or the marina and the curving sands of Kite Beach beyond.

Amenities are designed to elevate the guest experience: luxurious Votary products, haircare by celebrity stylist Rossano Ferretti, and Dyson technology in every room.

The Royal Suite exemplifies the pinnacle of Marsa Al Arab’s offerings. It spans the 12th floor and boasts a 3,330-square-foot terrace with a raised plunge pool overlooking the open sea. A marble-clad bathroom with a vast Jacuzzi, a private gym, a spa treatment room, a dining table for ten, and a plush living area create an atmosphere so inviting that it’s easy to imagine making it home.

Design-Driven Dining Experiences

At Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab, dining is treated not simply as a necessity but as a form of design. The hotel has eschewed the traditional all-day dining format in favour of The Fore — Dubai’s first transformative dining space.

By day, The Fore morphs into a stunning breakfast venue, with its sleek interiors dividing into four distinctive restaurants:

Umi Kei, a Japanese space inspired by kintsugi art,

Madame Li, offering Asian fusion delights,

Mirabelle, a Mediterranean brasserie, and

The Bombay Club, curated by celebrated chef Manav Tuli.

Each environment shifts effortlessly, showcasing smart design through hidden panels and adjustable layouts. Guests can savour anything from black truffle scrambled eggs to delicate feuilleté pastries, served amidst interiors that balance contemporary luxury with subtle cultural nods.

Beyond The Fore, Rialto serves Italian classics, while Iliana brings Mykonos-inspired seaside dining to the sun-drenched terrace—both designed to extend the hotel’s effortless dialogue between architecture, design, and experience.

Landscapes and Pools

True to its maritime inspiration, Marsa Al Arab’s landscaping flows like the tide across the property. Alongside lush gardens, a series of swimming pools invite relaxation: from tranquil adults-only spaces to vibrant family zones. At every turn, guests encounter calming waterscapes framed by manicured greenery, creating a resort atmosphere that feels at once expansive and intimate.

At the marina’s edge, the newly reconfigured D Marin Marsa Al Arab Marina — a pedestrian haven of cafes, restaurants, and promenades — blends public space and private sanctuary, extending the hotel’s design philosophy beyond its walls.

Wellness Redefined at Talise Spa

The Talise Spa at Marsa Al Arab elevates wellness to an art form. Set across three floors, the spa offers 13 treatment rooms, a women’s-only sanctuary, and a 20-metre indoor pool, all designed with calming palettes and organic textures.

Signature treatments feature exclusive collaborations with EviDenS de Beauté, Swissline, and Ground Wellbeing. Guests can detox with infrared therapy in the iDome, embrace futuristic healing with hyperbaric oxygen sessions, or simply lose themselves in one of the elegantly appointed relaxation terraces, where curated libraries inspire reflection and renewal.

Thoughtful details — from cactus bowls beneath massage beds to rose quartz eye masks — underscore the hotel’s commitment to designing moments of genuine care.

The Perfect Setting Between Old and New Dubai

Located midway between the historic heart of the city and the soaring towers of modern Dubai, Marsa Al Arab sits on a prime stretch of Jumeirah’s pristine beach. The hotel’s design ensures that guests enjoy sweeping, cinematic views in every direction, while easy access to an eight-mile coastal running track and nearby attractions places them at the crossroads of the city’s culture and contemporary life.

At Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab, design is not merely aesthetic — it is experiential. From architecture that captures the poetry of motion to interiors that exude subtle luxury, and from immersive culinary journeys to transformative wellness offerings, every element has been curated with intent and crafted with elegance.

Shaun Killa’s masterpiece ensures that Marsa Al Arab is not just a new landmark for Dubai—it is a living, breathing testament to the future of luxury design.
