Flag Garden 2024 - UAE Flag Day
Set against the picturesque backdrop of Umm Suqeim Beach, with the iconic Burj Al Arab and Jumeirah Beach Hotel in the distance, the 11th edition of Dubai’s Flag Garden stands as a striking tribute to the visionary legacies of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum. As part of the #ZayedAndRashid campaign, this year’s installation is the largest ever organised by Brand Dubai, spanning 75 metres in length and 104 metres in height.

Comprising 11,600 UAE flags, the display is meticulously arranged to form aerial portraits of the two leaders, honouring their profound contributions to the nation’s remarkable development. The intricate design, visible from above, reflects the unity, ambition, and resilience that continue to shape the UAE’s progress.
Beyond its visual impact, the Flag Garden invites residents and visitors to reflect on the country’s journey, fostering a deeper connection to its rich heritage. As the vibrant flags ripple in the breeze, they serve as a powerful reminder of the UAE’s enduring spirit. Visitors are encouraged to engage with the installation by sharing their experiences using #ZayedAndRashid, amplifying the message of national pride and gratitude.
The Flag Garden coincides with UAE Flag Day on 3 November and Eid Al Etihad on 2 December, remaining open to the public until 10 January 2025.
